Smokey previously lived with adults and children ages 1 and 8 years old. The owner stated Smokey is friendly and playful around strangers, adults and children. The owner mentioned Smokey is mostly house trained and well behaved when left home alone inside his crate. The owner describes Smokey as excitable, friendly and affectionate. During SAFER Smokey came into the assessment room loose and wiggly, he was friendly and playful towards the assessor. He allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Smokey follows but can be fixated with the leash during the tag interaction, and during the resources portion of the assessment Smokey was easy to handle when engaged with the item.
