06/02/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Smokey previously lived with 7 adults and spent time with children ages 5 and 6 years old. The owner stated Smokey is friendly, playful and gentle around strangers, adults and children. The owner mentioned Smokey lived with cats, birds, a turtle and a rabbit and described as relaxed around them. The owner describes Smokey as intelligent, loving and playful. It was reported by the owner Smokey is mostly housetrained, has a medium activity level and when his toy is taken away he will growl. At intake it was reported Smokey was friendly with loose body posture, he allowed all handling. During SAFER Smokey came into the assessment room loose and wiggly, he was friendly and social towards the assessor. He allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Smokey was relaxed during the tag interaction, and during the resources portion of the assessment Smokey was easy to handle when engaged with the item. Due to come concerns stated from the previous owner Smokey will growl when his toy is taken away, so the behavior department feels he can be suitable for an experience adopter with no children.
