11/07/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: We’ve all heard that the sky is the limit, so it’s appropriate that as far as being sweet, cuddly and adorable…Sky is the limit! She has been very easy to handle on all of our walks, except when she saw a favorite staff member and we had to hurry over to him (and then stay in one spot and look longingly in the direction he drove off, of course). She whines for attention from her cage, keeps it clean and seems to have housetraining, loves treats, and knows “sit” and “paw.” She has never been around other dogs, so isn’t quite comfortable with them yet, but mostly chooses to ignore them….after all, there are people around! Sky LOVES people and is incredibly affectionate. When I sit down she immediately tries to crawl in my lap and diligently kisses my face. She always makes soft, strong eye contact and will make you feel like you’re the best thing that ever was! Her previous owner reports she is gentle and relaxed around the children she lived with, enjoys baths, and loves to play with squeaky toys. Please come see this sweet, sweet girl in person at Brooklyn ACC…and leave with a clean face and warm fuzzy feelings inside!
