**HIND LIMB PARALYSIS WILL NEED SPECIALIZED CARE ASAP**
3 yr. female red/brown, stray, 8 pounds:
DVM Intake Exam; Estimated age:3 y; Microchip noted on Intake?n; History :stray; Subjective:hind limb paresis. +muscle tone, atrophy, sluggish proprioception esp rhl, unable to localize spinal lesion with palpable. no obvious fx, + anal tone; Observed Behavior -qar, allows handling; Objective ; T =; P =60; R =wnl; BCS 5/9; EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted; Oral Exam: mod tartar; PLN: No enlargements noted; H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic; ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated; U/G: no ss seen; MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat; CNS: Mentation appropriate -see above for neuro; Assessment; radiographs show fracture and displacement of L7. Abdomen full of feces Prognosis:poor for return to function. SURGERY: Permanent waiver due to illness
