Medical Behavior Evaluation BLUE
Medical Summary Scan negative. Male intact. Age 11 confirmed by teeth and eyes. Vet exam: QAR. Marked dehydration. MM pk. EENT: Eyes – mod lenticular changes, cornea/ sclera/ conj clr. Ears – mild erythema. NND. Oral – marked tartar and tooth wear, Grade 4 ddz. MSI: Ambx 3, LFL knuckled over at carpus. Pressure sores on lateral carpus and paw. Moderate pressure sores on hocks. No pain on palpation or flexion/ extension of joints on both front legs. Muscle wasting over shoulder of LFL. Pelvic limbs – decreased extension at hips. Full haircoat oterwise. No fleas seen. Small pedunculaed skin mass to left of prepuce. Long nails. CV: HR= 120, NSR, NM. L: clr and eup. Abd: tense but no focal pain UG: Intact male, testicles large but symmetric, rectal uncomfortable but does not seem to have painful or irregular prostate. Drank and ate canned well on exam. A) Geriatric. Marked dehydration. Generalized weakness. Lame LFL – r/o old injury vs neurologic (brachial plexus) vs weakness. Marked ddz. P) Buprenorphine 1.4 cc sq SQF 300 cc . Condition: Poor Prognosis: Guarded to poor.
