05/26/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Silvia was difficult to remove from his kennel showing teeth, growling. Once he was removed from her kennel she was grabbing at the leash and flips her body and snapping at the handler. For the safeness of the dog and the handler the behavior team decided to place him back in her kennel she was difficult to handle. Due to the behavior demonstrated in the shelter the behavior department believes that Silvia is not an appropriate candidate for SAFER. The behavior department feels that she would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home.
