A Volunteer writes: Sierrha exudes peace and tranquility. She has a very enchanting, zen-like quality about her. When you look at her, you forget about all your cares! Needless to say she is a perfectly behaved young lady on the leash and gladly accepts any rubs or scratches you are willing to give. She’s a real heartbreaker and anyone would be lucky to have her!

Admissions memo:
Police got a call stating woman who owned dog was pulling dogs hair and going to the bathroom next to dog. Owner is a homeless woman who the police took to hosiptal. No phone number. Dog seems to be very dirty and matted.
BEHAVIOR
Sierrha walks calmly on leash. She was calm and relaxed during handling and easily engages in play, body is loose and wiggly, mouth open. Sierrha was not interested in toys.Sierrha did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that she can go to an Average home.
Look: 1. Dog holds gaze with soft eyes, soft body. She allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Dog holds gaze for three full seconds.
Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, her eyes are averted, and her tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture.
Tag: 1. Dog assumes play position and joins the game.
Squeeze 1: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds.
Squeeze 2: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds.
