07/18/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Sidney came into our center after a member of the public found her as a stray and brought her to the police station. She was very scared and timid upon intake, attempting to flee/broke her nail in the process. Sidney is very growly in her kennel, standing at the back. She was difficult to leash, ducking her head and cowering. Once leashed, Sidney hard bucked and alligator rolled. She is not a candidate for a SAFER assessment at this time. We recommend placement with a New Hope partner who can provide reward-based behavior modification and counterconditioning/desensitization before placement into a permanent home.
