Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted. His ears are back, his tail is down, and he has a relaxed body posture. Dog allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands.
Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is wagging with relaxed body posture, mouth open

Toy: 1. Minimal interest in Toy, dog sniffs, then turns away.
Summary: Shadow displayed no concerning behavior during his handling assessment.
PLAYGROUP:
Summary When introduced off leash to dogs, Shadow keeps to himself mostly. When solicited with play, he briefly bounces, then wanders off.
INTAKE BEHAVIOR:
Upon intake, Shadow was playful and allowed handling.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:
During his initial medical exam, Shadow was active and social.
ENERGY LEVEL:
We have no history on Shadow so we cannot be certain of her behavior in a home environment. In the care center, Shadow is active and will require daily mental and physical activity to keep her engaged and exercised.
