11/05/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Shadow must be one of those ironic names because this chunky, cheerful and super good-looking little dude doesn’t have a drop of darkness in him! Spreading sunshine wherever he goes, Shadow’s adorable underbite and roly-poly puppy body are the stuff Bulldog lovers dreams are made of and his playful nature and silly streak would be the ideal match for an active, experienced hom e. He seems to adore other dogs and greets them politely, thoroughly enjoys a good game of fetch and already knows how to come and sit on command. He’s independent but always wants to be near his people and at one point he tuckered out and lay across my feet like a snuggly pair of slippers! Of course, in minutes he was up and on the go again, snuffling treats softly from my hand, dashing after a toy, playing a game of tag and then flopping back on the floor in a ‘froggie doggie’ pose to rest–too cute! Shadow pulls a bit on leash and likes to mouth everything he can reach but these are small issues when compared to all the love, loyalty and fun he has to offer a new family. With the same consistent training every puppy should have, a whole lot of chew toys and plenty of exercise and attention, Shadow is going to light up his lucky adopter’s life for many happy years to come.
