Upon engaging in play, Sensi made an attempt to mouth assessor’s arm (light), recovering easily with no escalation though this may have been due to her anxious behavior.

PLAYGROUP: According to Sensi’s previous owner, Sensi lived with a small dog and she was relaxed and playful with the dog. When off leash with dogs at the Care Center, Sensi greeted a novel male dog with a loose and wiggly body. Once in the pen, Sensi initially engaged in and solicited gentle play. Sensi’s arousal level increased as the play energy increased and she began low growling and displaying stiffer body language. She is easily interrupted by the handlers and the session is ended. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 11/20/16 During her initial medical examination, Sensi readily allowed all handling without issue. ENERGY LEVEL: RECOMMENDATIONS: Experience (Suitable for an adopter with some previous dog experience) _X_No young children (under 5)(While human social, we did see the potential in Sensi to become uncomfortable and escalate upon engaging in play during her evaluation; though recovery was easily achieved with no escalation, the behavior department advises against a home with young children until she decompresses and is allowed time to acclimate to new home environment.) _X_No cats
