10/21/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/21/16 14:55 Basic Info: Sebastian A1094178 is a 6yr old male red Chihuahua who was bred at home 6yrs ago and is being surrendered along with Samantha A1094177 due to too many pets. He was last seen by a veterinarian several years ago and currently has a skin issue. Socialization: Around strangers Sebastian is shy for a few minutes. He hasn’t lived with other dogs but was relaxed, affectionate & playful with the adults and Samantha in the home. Sometimes family members with children would visit the home and Sebastian was playful with them. He’s never bitten/scratched any person or animal Behavior: Sebastian “goes” indoors if someone takes too long to let him out to the patio. His behaviors are unknown for the following: having his food/food bowl, toys/treats touched/moved or being held/restrained. Saebastian isn’t bothered if someone unfamiliar approaches the home/family member but if anyone attempts to engage him in rough play he’ll bark, growl and or run/hide from them. Sebastian doesn’t like to be handled much during baths and he hasn’t had his nails trimmed. For A New Family To Know: Sebastian is described as friendly, affectionate, mellow (at times), playful & excitable (with Samantha) with a low-medium activity level. When the owner is home he follows them around sometimes. Sebastian enjoys ball, squeaky & stuffed toys. He’s a mostly indoor only dog who’s let out onto the patio to “go”. He isn’t used to leashes and doesn’t like them. He sleeps on a dog bed and eats house food 2x a day. When left home alone he isn’t destructive and knows no commands. Intake Behavior: Sebastian allowed handling with assistance from the owner.
