01/06/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
01/06/16 18:46 Scrabble A1062397 was found walking in the street by the Bronx Zoo. The finder was able to approach him, leash and collar him, and walk him to BXACC. The finder stated that he is very frienldy and allowed her to handle him. Behavior during intake Scrabble was friendly upon intake. He vocalized as we scanned(-), collared and leashed him. He sat down for photos but was trying to look out of the window. He wagged his tail and tolerated all petting. He pulled lightly on the leash as he was walked to the back. He was then transferred into a kennel. He whined and vocalized from inside of the kennel.
01/09/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Our vocabulary isn’t big enough to spell out the vastness of love we have for this amazing boy, who was found wandering near the Bronx Zoo. Scrabble is such a joy bomb to be around that I actually felt jealous of the zoo worker who found him and brought him to the shelter because she got to have that extra time with him. Scrabble has impeccable manners (kind to dogs and people he meets along the way, perfect on a leash, and appears housetrained), manners which are made all the more delightful by his whirlybird tail which never stops wagging and wonderful kisses and snuggles. Jovial, kind, with a delightful joie de vivre that appears unaffected by his current straits, Scrabble is…beyond words.
