A volunteer writes: Holy cute! With those little legs Scout might not be tall enough to ride any roller coasters, but he is the perfect height for turning heads and stealing hearts! A guy like him could get by on his ridiculous looks alone, but he’s also ridiculously charming! He’s super wiggly (his tail is like a propeller) and friendly — surely not a stranger to attention, and not afraid to eat it up. He is easy to handle, seems housebroken, and knows “sit.” He LOVES toys and when I bring him in the yard he basically parades around with them. Toy in mouth, wag, hop up on the bench, wag, hop down from the bench, wag, prance around and show off to invisible audience, and repeat. Squeaky, bouncy, stuffy things might be the apple of his eye, but he doesn’t seem to mind me either. He’ll make himself at home in my lap, gives kisses, and often shoots me sweet looks. This one of a kind boy is waiting for you at Brooklyn ACC!
For more information on adopting from the NYC AC&C, or to find a rescue to assist, please read the following: http://urgentpodr.org/adoption-info-and-list-of-rescues.
If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email helpdogs@urgentpodr.org. Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process.
* We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.*
