Who’s a big smushy, snuggly baby? If you guessed Scornex you’re not wrong! I’m a sucker for the gentle giants of the dog world and weighing in at 100 lanky pounds (with room left to grow) this stunningly gorgeous guy certainly ‘measures up’ to my standards! He’s such an easy-going good boy and always happy to meet new friends of any size or species, politely sniffing hands and noses while his tail gently wags hello. A nice leash walker who seems to be quite house trained, he makes for wonderfully easy company and will come when called and sit on command to snarfle treats with mouth soft as butter. If you’ve never experienced the joy of having a big dog lean waaaay into your side as he luxuriates in a full body massage then now’s your chance. Make a date with this hunkiest of hunks and I guarantee he will seal the deal within minutes! Visit him today at our Manhattan Care Center and come prepared to fall in love.
BEHAVIOR :
Scornex walks calmly on leash. He was sociable toward the handler during the assessment – soft body, low wag. He was calm and relaxed during handling. Scornex did a lot of jumping up and body checking while playing tag. He took the toy away but had soft body language.
Scornex show a bit of concern during the tag interaction he became a bit over arousal. The behavior department feels that he may do best with an experienced adopter who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification. We also recommend a home without young children; older children can be considered pending interaction.
