07/17/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: This sweet little porker was quietly napping when I came up to her cage, and when I called her name and offered her a treat she quietly and calmly walked up, tail wagging, and sat like a good patient girl right in front of me. No barking or crying at all! Sassy is very easy to walk on the leash, seems to be housebroken, and LOVES people. On our walk today she saw her favorite volunteer, and climbed right up onto the bench to get as close as possible and smother him with kisses, her tail wagging non-stop. Sassy is still learning to sit for treats, but she loves eating them so much that I don’t mind all the practice. Sassy loves spending time with people so much that she really doesn’t look forward to going back into her cage– in fact, she usually only goes in if I go in with her and hang out for a little while. Will you be the one to give Sassy the loving, cuddly forever home she’s seeking? Please come and meet her at the Brooklyn ACC today.
