I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 02/02/2017 from NY 11207, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

Dog’s eyes are averted, with tail wagging and ears back. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with tense body posture. Dog’s mouth is closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft, a bit distracted. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze 2:1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy: 1. Minimal interest in Toy, dog may smells, then turns away. Summary: Samuel was relaxed and allowed all handling during his handling assessment.
