11/01/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: With an adorably freckled nose and impeccable, soft white coat, Samoa is a sight for sore eyes, as the expression goes. She’s sweet, soft, gentle, and calm, and as she oh so very carefully steps out of her kennel she looks up at me with a smile. We’re off to the park, where she poses for some pictures, tilting her head as I make noises at her. Coming out of the park, Samoa pauses to consider the few stairs she needs to walk down before cautiously proceeding. Courage! Perhaps she’s not accustomed to stairs. Samoa joins us with her brother Mammoth (A1095230), surrendered because their former owner could no longer keep them. We’re told that she was relaxed and playful with the 3 year old child in the home, lived respectfully with three cats, and played hard with her brother. Samoa doesn’t guard her things, enjoys baths, likes to play with toys and balls, and enjoys a good game of fetch. Well behaved when left home alone, she’s wee-wee-pad-trained, and wasn’t allowed on the furniture. On her first playdate, Samoa needed to warm up a bit, and then played softly. When I invited her to join me on the bench, she didn’t, but put her paws in my lap for some kissing. A beautiful, low key, calm and gentle girl, Samoa is quietly waiting for her knight in shining armor to whisk her away to her happily ever after. Let’s make it happen today!
