Observed Behavior – tries to bite immediately, needs telazol for exam and treatments. under telazol sedation P = 140 R = 20 BCS: 6/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: muzzled but teeth look within normal limits PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: female spayed, no mgts or dc MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: a bit overweight otherwise in apparent good health Plan: given 0.3 ml telazol im for sedation continue to monitor at ACC Prognosis: fair SURGERY: already altered
