A volunteer writes: My goodness, what an absolute charmer Rufus is. He is the most playful and cheerful young man I’ve had the pleasure to spend time with in some time. While we were on our walk, Rufus kept turning back and looking at me excitedly, tongue hanging out– he seemed to be saying “THIS IS SO GREAT! LET’S KEEP GOING! ARE YOU STILL THERE? ISN’T THIS AWESOME? LET’S GO! WOOOO!” I don’t think his tail quit wagging once, and it seemed like Rufus was more interested in playing than in walking. Rufus knows how to seat for treats and to take them very gently, and loves to try to climb into your lap for kisses and cuddles (paying no mind to the fact that he weighs almost 60 pounds). If you’re looking for a joyful, playful, and happy pup who loves to run around almost as much as he loves to cuddle, look no further– you’ve found him!
