Rudy sure is one big, beautiful hunk and he comes complete with a mouthful of toys, a heart full of love and a happy-go-lucky spirit that’s guaranteed to make you smile! Like the most avid of collectors Rudy’s always on the lookout for new items to add to his stash and a walk through the yard is an exercise in spotting and then grabbing up every stray tennis ball or plush toy that crosses his path. Luckily for me, this friendly gent is no guarder and on the rare occasions that he drops a toy I can pick it up for another throw without any trouble, though like all athletes he does have some pretty fast reflexes! When we hit the street Rudy pulls a little but proves a good walker once in harness and he seems to be extremely house trained, using the facilities promptly and often. He loves dogs and is always thrilled to make new four-legged friends, meeting them through the fence with play bows and happy tail wags. Other favorite pastimes include chilling on a bench with his person or his toys (preferably both), enjoying some hearty butt rubs or showing off his good boy credentials by sitting on command before very gently taking treats from my hand. All this and a glowing behavior evaluation too??!!! Rudy has everything your dog-savvy family is looking for in a pet and then some, come see him in action at our Manhattan Care Center and get ready to be wowed!
