A Volunteer Wrote: She’s a dancer, she’s a prancer, she is a party girl looking for a party! Ruby managed to charm five of us in as many minutes with her charming, silly personality. She adores people and will stand on her back legs to try to entice you to play and offers hugs and kisses. Ruby, who came into the shelter with a small dog, aced her behavior test because she’s so darn winning. She appears housetrained and is nice on a leash. This is one good time girl looking for a good time. Prepare for delight!

DOG-DOG INTERACTION ASSESSMENT:
Summary
PLAYGROUP:
9/22/16: When introduced off leash to another dog in the care center, Ruby engages in play, offering bounces, bows, and spins. She offers correction for mounting. Ruby arrived into our care as a stray, so there is no available history of previous interaction with other dogs, and it is unknown how her behavior around dogs will translate into a home setting. Ruby would benefit from slow introduction with resident dogs in a future home.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:
Allows all handling, timid at times
ENERGY LEVEL: In the care center, Ruby has been exuberant and playful, and responds well to human cues.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Average (suitable for an adopter with an average amount of experience)
