Medical Summary 06/22/17 11:45 Friendly, wagging tail, does not seem like she has good hearing, does not respond when called unless she is looking at you, allowed all handling Scan negative BAR Nuclear sclerosis OU, mild episcleral injection OU, 3rd eyelid up just a little OU, moderate debris and itchy ears AU, nndc OP 2/4 tartar, some teeth fractured, missing a few teeth PLN wnl H/L reg, no obvious murmur, ssp, lungs clear/eupenic, no coughing or sneezing ABD snp MSK amb x 4 Integ large 5 cm x 5 cm, soft, non-mobile, smooth mass lower left inguinal associated with left mammary chain, try to aspirate to see if cystic but no fluid obtained, otherwise normal coat, no obvious spay scar or tattoo BCS 4/9, some dorsal muscle wasting noted UG f/i, no discharge Neuro alert and appropriate A:Mass left inguinal-r/o benign vs. malignant, cannot say without biopsy Otitis externa Episcleral injection & 3rd eyelids up mildly Geriatric P:Cleaned ears Aspirated mass-no fluid obtained Start otobiotic BID x 14 days Recommend NH placement-should have eyes worked up, full blood work since geriatric, chest x-rays to look for metastasis and mass surgically removed and sent for biopsy +/- dental cleaning Fair to guarded prognosis-will depend on biopsy of mass, if mammary tumor 50/50 benign vs. malignant in dogs who are not spayed
