10/30/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/30/16 18:09 Roosevelt had a loose body and wagging tail. His ears would go back if someone moved quickly, but he allowed petting if person approached him slowly. He liked to rest his head on counselor’s legs.
11/05/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: With a nod to his illustrious ancestors, Mr. Roosevelt already has a stellar reputation of his own. He’s so gentle, so easy, so calm, so perfect as my first walk of the day I knew I could find no equal. Housetrained, great on leash checking up often as we walk, ignoring other dogs we pass including a small yappy one pulling towards us, Roosevelt doesn’t mind being tethered for photos, shows off his sit, and takes a treat gently. Roosevelt put his head in my lap for petting, nudging me with his nose if I stopped for too long. We hugged while he buried his head into my shoulder, and I was in Roosevelt nirvana. Off leash in a pen, Roosevelt plays with a toy briefly, and in group play engages with a group of males and females. What motivates this doe eyed boy is love, and I wish it were mine forever to give him. He will be the cream in your coffee, the jelly on your peanut butter, the soft center of your Oreo, the cream cheese on your bagel….in other words, your everything. He will fill your heart with love everyday….come meet him and see what I’m talking about.
