Medical Summary scan positive female S-brought to medical because noted to not being using hindlimbs and urinating in cage O-QAR, pink mm, hydrated MSI-BCS 3.5/5, amb x 4 with assistance, ok haircoat Neuro-normal cranial nerves, amb x 4 with assistance, paraparesis (L>>R), normal tail and anal tone, no obvious pain palpable in TL A-paraparesis R/O IVDD vs other P-start on prednisone 1 mg bid for 3 days then 1 mg sid for 3 days then 0.5 mg/kg sid fo 3 days ivdd esp with motor can have good prognosis, especially if patient responds to tapering steroid cours referred to NH and asked for placement
