10/06/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Sweet Romeo has the look of a distinguished gentleman, and the calm, laidback demeanor to go with it. Romeo moseys along quite well on a leash, and seems to be housetrained. Whenever we go for walks together and sit down for a break, he pushes his sweet little face into my hand for head scratches and tries to nuzzle his big old body into mine for maximum affection. Surrendered by his former owner because of personal problems that had nothing to do with him, Romeo is a sweet boy who tries to get as close as possible to his handler, happy for the opportunity for cuddles. Although he is a sweetheart in all other respects, Romeo does have a penchant for guarding his toys, which he may need training for. For this reason, we recommend that he be adopted by an experienced dog owner with no children at home. Please come and see this special boy today!
