10/18/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Tall, dark, handsome, affectionate and intelligent…is Roman a dream dog or what? Add to that list the title of snuggle-kisser extraordinaire and you’re looking at a great family pet in the making and the best date this lucky volunteer had all day! Roman is such a good boy and waits quietly in his kennel for a walk, leashing up easily, exploring enthusiastically and greeting dogs of all sizes with happy tail wags and a soft wiggle butt. All his business is taken care of quickly and then it’s on to the park where he offers me plenty of loving stand-up hugs and smooches and even tries to join in a baseball game. Roman has clearly had some training and understands commands for come and sit and he snuffles treats very gently from my hand, he’s a gentleman after all and it’s the only way he knows how to be. With his yen for exploration and playful energy Roman would thrive in an active family where he’ll enjoy all the walks, play dates and sofa snuggles he deserves. A one way trip to happiness leaves from our Manhattan Care Center between 12 and 8 every weekday (we have weekend getaways too!) and this sweet brindled babe is ready to follow wherever you lead. Take an Italian vacation without ever leaving the city–ask for Roman today!
