Placed muzzle just in case, but was well behaved and able to handle during PE and med handling. No signs of aggression. Observed Behavior -; Objective ; T =; P = wnl; R = wnl; BCS 5.5/9; MM pink, slight delay in skin turgor; EENT: Eyes clear, no discharge. OU nuclear sclerosis and iris atrophy. AU mild waxy debris. No nasal or ocular discharge noted; Oral Exam: Muzzled. Severe dental disease noted with incisors and canines, halitosis. PLN: No enlargements noted; H/L: NMA, RR, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic; ABD: Tense but no overt signs of pain, no overt masses palpated; U/G: FS, spay scar, small mammae, no MGTs, no vulvar discharge; MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat; CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities; Rectal: normal externally; Assessment:  approx 8 yo FS SBD; geriatric; dental disease; mild dehydration; overgrown nails; nuclear sclerosis; iris atrophy; Prognosis: good; Plan: LRS 150mL SQ; CBC/Chem; Nail trim; ctm until transfer/adoption; recommend dental post placement; SURGERY: Spayed
