Kisses and snuggles and good clean tail-wagging fun in the snow–that’s the Rodrick way! This tiny dynamo is just as ‘adorkable’ as you’d expect a Shepherd-y baby to be, the perfect mix of clumsy goofball and smart cookie. He’s so easy to lift from his kennel and a nice leash walker who checks in with frequent head turns as if to ask, am I doing okay here? Yes, Rodrick, you’re doing great! Other dogs of all shapes and sizes are met with good-natured friendship and curious nose snuffles and every human we see is an instant friend. He obeys come, sit and stay requests promptly (though there might be a teensy bit of jumpiness in the mix) and when it comes to the game of fetch, Rodrick’s an old pro, returning the ball in his super soft mouth and giving it up with ease every time. His energy levels are always set to play play play but like any kid, at the end of the day he looks to his parent for comfort and security, happy to quietly nuzzle into a lap and share some appreciative smooches. Puppies aren’t for everyone but the joy and wonder (and in this case, keen intelligence) they bring with them makes all the hard work worthwhile. Baby Rodrick is currently staying at our Manhattan Care Center, eagerly waiting for someone to offer him his big break. Ask for him by name and take home a rock star today!
