08/04/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Helper-Dog:A1083025 Roda came into the shelter as a stray, so her past behaviors in a home are unknown. Behavior upon Intake: Roda was not handled. Not all handling items were able to be conducted as Roda frequently freezes and kept a stiff body posture with her tail tucked; Roda was uncomfortable during her walk, keeping her distance from the assessor and the handler. She displayed no interest in the toy resource item during this portion of the assessment. When on leash for a dog interaction with another dog on leash Roda does approach, with her ears back and her tail wagging. In light of this behavior we feel that placement with a rescue that can provide positive reinforcement-based behavior modification is the best option at this time. Toy: 1. No interest. Dog-dog: 2. Dog approaches helper dog with tail wagging, body not stiff, ears relaxed, lip neutral.
08/04/2016 GROUP BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY

Roda was surrendered as a stray so her past behavior around dogs is unknown. 8/4: When off leash with dogs at the Care Center, Roda greets the other dog displaying nervous body language. She ignores the other dog and keeps to herself as she explores the pen.
