06/17/17 19:51 Trigger was found tied to a building. He was very calm and social during inake and allowed the counselor to pet, collar, scan for a microchip (+) and photograph. He allowed the counselor to bear hug him during his medical exam. He did not take treats, but entered the kennel when asked with ease.

Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is closed. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. Toy: 1. Minimal interest, dog takes toy then drops and loses interest. Summary: Trigger displayed no concerning behaviors during his assessment. PLAYGROUP: During his most recent stay in the care center, Trigger has displayed interest in rough play with other dogs, though at times may continue to solicit from those who are less playful. The behavior department recommends slow introductions to other dogs who are playful, or tolerant of energetic play. INTAKE BEHAVIOR: Upon intake, Trigger was calm and social.
