CONTINUE CURRENT TREATMENT PLAN AND RECHECK ON LAST DAY OF TREATMENT, FOR RESOLUTION

01/19/16 VC: Recheck swelling under right mandible. S/O: BARH, APP ++. Swelling is resolving well, edema is resolving, small amount of firm soft tissue palpable SQ. Not painful

P: Continue current treatment and monitoring
Prognosis: Excellent
01/17/16 VC – RECHECK SWELLING RESPONSE TO ANTIBIOTICS. S/O: Puppy is Q/BARH; BCS 3/9; EENT – clear; T-100.6, P-80, R-sniff; MM – pink, moist; CRT < 2s; Heart/lungs auscult wnl; Abdomen soft, non-painful; Semi-firm linear SQ swelling extending from caudal right mandible down neck (approx 7-9cm in length total); several superficial scabbed wounds
A: Bite wound/cellulitis appears to be healing
P: Continue Clavamox – changing dose to 125mg BID and adding Doxycycline preventatively. Puppy does not seem painful so not adding Rimadyl at this time. Recheck daily until resolved or placed.
PROGNOSIS: Good-Excellent
