A Little Bit About Me…
A volunteer writes: I met Red Maxwell as he was coming back from a walk. He was perched on the shoulder of a staff as he did not want to walk anymore.Talk about VIP service! I wish I had my camera ! He looked so comfortable, so cozy. Red Maxwell is a cute fox, dressed in a luxurious flame coat. I like his one ear up, his copper eyes still bright and his slightly greying muzzle. 11 looks quite good on him ! He appears a bit serious but do not be mistaken….Red Maxwell loves to play and enjoys chewing on a tennis ball(preferably a squeaky one) while being caressed and bathing in the spring sun. A treat is always welcome, of course. Red Maxwell is quite polite sampling dry liver nuggets. I think that he could stay for hours by his caretaker’s side, just chilling, being out and in company. Red Maxwell has seen many seasons in the capacity of family dog. He was owned since early puppyhood, was friendly to strangers , kids and little dogs but cats were not his cup of tea. Red Maxwell dreams to belong again and be the cherished pet a new owner will want to care for and love. Will you be the one to open your heart and home to this elder? Red Maxwell is at the Manhattan Care Center.
