RADISH – 9295

A volunteer writes: A little roussette, a mini lioness laying quietly in her kennel….Radish… She is quick to come to her door and be leashed. Let’s explore the savannah…oops, we have only a back yard with fake green grass…Radish “takes” quickly to her caretaker. She gives stand up hugs and loves to be in the arms. She sits so nicely on command even before I wave treats in front of her nose. She is smart..Radish loves treats. She needs to fatten up.  Food might have been scarce  in her former quarters and let’s not forget to mention that she had a litter not long ago. She is a little wary when more people crowd our area and paces in our pen. She might not have been that socialized but my hunch is that Radish will make smart use of her walks and outing with staff and volunteers  and ends up on the lap of many here at the care centers if not of potential adopters. Although too thin, Radish is really cute , Boxer like with her underbite, her wrinkly face, her lucky tooth and her endearing eyes… She is so radiant in her orange fall dress.I could not resist her and took  her 3 times out yesterday. We ended up , as the rain was falling hard, in a little quiet corner of the care center, smooching and dreaming of a wonderful life , a lovely home and loving owners. Radish is waiting for you  at the Manhattan Care Center and hopes to make  the many years ahead , a life of beautiful friendship..
