Attention seeking, allows all handling P = WNL R = WNL BCS 1/9 EENT: Nuclear sclerosis, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Severe dental tartar, gingivitis, gingival recession PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Female, unable to check for spay scar due to matting, small nipples, no mammary development MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, dirty matted hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: Geriatric, severe dental disease, emaciated, matted Plan: Rec LRS 100ml SQ q24 x 3 days, 3x/day feedings. Rec dental cleaning, +/- extractions with placement CBC/Chem and grooming scheduled for tomorrow Prognosis: Fair SURGERY: Permanent waiver due to age and body condition
