I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 12/07/2016 from NY 11357, owner surrender reason stated was NO TIME.

No urine or stool in run, no reports of hematuria EENT: Eyes clear, moderate mucoid nasal discharge HL: Coughing A: Persistent signs of CIRDC P: Moving back to isolation. 12/07/16 18:17 Basic Information: Max A1099041 is a 4 yr. old male Pit Bull Mix that has no past or current medical issues that the owner is aware of. Max was surrendered due to no time. Max was given to the initially owner as a gift. Socialization: According to the owner, around strangers, Max is friendly and outgoing. Around adults and children, Max is respectful and playful. Max plays in an exciting manner. Max has never interacted with other dogs or cats so his behavior is unknown. Behavior: Max has never bitten anymore or animal. Max isn’t bothered by the following, loud or sudden sounds/ being pushed off of furniture/ having his food bowl touched or taking away. Max is partially house trained. He will have accidents about twice a week. For a New Family to Know: Max is described as friendly and mellow with a very high activity level. Max was fed dry dog food. When left alone in the yard, Max is well-behaved. Previous owner is not aware if Max knows any commands. Max loves to play /chew on plastic bottles. Max would be great in a family home stated by the previous owner. Upon intake Max was very hyper but friendly upon intake. Max allowed all handling.

He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Dog holds gaze for three full seconds. Sensitivity: 1. According to Max’s previous owner, Max has never interacted with other dogs or cats. 12/9: When off leash at the Care Center, Quacks neutrally greets a novel female. He then begins to lip curl and is a bit stiff and becomes sexually motivated, but does not mount. He explores the pens for the remainder of the session. 12/10: With a female dog, Quacks is sexually motivated, persistently licking the female’s genital area. When greets a male through the gate, Quacks’ body language becomes stiff as he hard stares at the other male. They are not introduced. 12/22: Quacks is sexually motivated with a female, persistently licking her genital area, but does not attempt to mount. He responds well to handler interruptions and explores the pen. 1/7: Quacks was calmer when interacting with a novel female. He briefly exchanged sniff then kept to himself the rest of the session.
