Pupnstein is a brown puppy that is 5 months old. Pupnstein was adopted from ACC a day ago but she was returned due to allergies. Pupnstein during intake was very playful and affectionate. She allowed to be collard, scanned and photographed.
BEHAVIOR:
Pupnstein came into the Care Center as a stray so her previous behavior around other dogs is unknown. She came in with four littermates.
6/15: When off leash with dogs at the Care Center, Pupnstein is nervous when meeting a novel male dog, tucking her tail and lip licking. She becomes more confident with her littermate.
6/23: Pupnstein solicits and engages in high energy, puppy play with a novel male dog.
6/24: Pupnstein is over-whelming by rough play, and separates herself from the group. She explores the pen, while checking in on the other dogs.
6/25- 6/26: Pupnstein solicits sloppy play with another female dog but does not read her body language, continually jumping on the other dog even when the other dog is clearly uncomfortable and attempting to hide from her.
