Active, attention seeking, allows all handling, whimpers for vaccinations P = WNL R = WNL BCS 4/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Teeth clean, all adult dentition erupting, pink mm PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Female MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat; ~3cm soft fluctuant mass at left elbow CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: Mass at left elbow – Rule out hygroma Plan: Drained ~4ml serosanginous fluid from left elbow. Rec fully draining at time of spay while under sedation. May resolve after draining with large amount of soft bedding at all times, may require surgical repair Prognosis: Good SURGERY: Okay for surgery
