07/16/16 13:22hrs Princess is described as friendly, hyper and curious. She has lived in a home with adults and teenagers. She has interacted with children aged 4 years and older and was playful with them. She allowed them to pet her all over. Princess becomes interested when she notices other dogs. She will wag her tail, whimper and stare at them. Princess allows other dogs to sniff at her and is playful with them. BEHAVIOR Princess spends most of the day relaxing. When her owner is home she will follow him around all day. Princess enjoys being petted. She is bathed at least 2x a month and will sit and whimper while being bathed. Princess is not bothered with having her food taken from her while eating. Princess is accustomed to being left alone during the day. She is playful with guest that enter the home and with strangers that greet her on the street. Princess will wag her tail and jump up and down on the person. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Princess understands the commands “stop, sit, hand and stay.” Princess enjoys playing with stuffed toys and tug ropes. She will play fetch all day if allowed. She is accustomed to being walked 2x a day. She will cry and attempt to hide near her owner when she hears fireworks or very loud sounds. She is fed Pedigree dry dog food. She sleeps on a carpet at night. DURING INTAKE Princess displayed a soft body while seated. She would become excited when called with her tail wagging and her attempting to jump up. She allowed petting and would respond when told to sit. She allowed collaring, scanning for a microchip(negative) and photographed.

Princess previously lived with adults, teenagers and has been around a 4 year old. The owner stated Princess is playful and friendly around strangers, adults and children. The owner describes Princess as friendly, hyper and curious. The owner mentioned Princess has a high activity level and well behaved when home alone. At intake it was reported Princess was loose and wiggly with her tail wagging, she allowed all handling. During SAFER Princess came into the assessment room loose and wiggly, she was friendly and very playful towards the assessor. She allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Princess joins the game during the tag interaction, and during the resources portion of the assessment Princess was easy to handle when engaged with the item. Princess appears to be sociable, and did not display any behaviors concerns, so the department feels she can be suitable for an “Average” adopter. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft, soft and loose body, open mouth. Tag: 1. Dog assumes play position and joins the game. Or dog indicates play with huffing, soft ‘popping’ of the body, etc. Dog jumps on Assessor once play ends. Squeeze 1 & 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back her paw. Toy: 1. Dog settles close, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. She does not place her body between you and the toy. Dog-dog: When off leash at the Care Center, Princess greets with a stiff, tense posture and raised hackles. She does soften after exchanging sniffs with the male helper dog. She offers very stiff bounces occasionally and corrects him for attempting to mount.

She does soften after exchanging sniffs with the male helper dog. She offers very stiff bounces occasionally and corrects him for attempting to mount.
