A volunteer writes: Prince, a young man of one year, lived happily with young children, two other dogs (one, his sibling) and a cat, and was friendly to strangers. He comes with great comments but was surrendered into our care as they were not able to fully train him in good manners. Prince has been very well cared for and is a cute and healthy brindley bun. I imagine that a Boston Terrier must be up his family tree. Prince is not comfortable within our walls. He “walks on eggshells”. He is trying hard to make friends as he is a good little boy and takes steps to come on my lap when I am on the floor. For some reason, he “takes” quickly to men, rushes to their laps and insists to stay…I wish I had taken a picture of him nudged tightly in the arms of a someone else. Prince needs a new owner who will teach him the skills he still needs, and a home sweet home will take care of his fears. Come and meet our little guy here at the Manhattan Care Center and take him home for a life of love and fun.
