Observed Behavior – very sweet. Easily handleable. Did well for all medical handling and procedures. Objective; P = wnl R = eupneic BCS 5/9 EENT: Eyes have mild mucoid d/c ou, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: adult dentition with moderate dental disease, no oral lesions noted PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic ABD: mildly tense and painful on caudal abdominal palpation, no masses palpated U/G: MN MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat, shaved around hindend CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities. Assessment:Geriatric Dental disease (moderate). Hx UTI-straining to urinate and possibly defecate. Large bladder stone. Mild conjunctivitis
Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC Start TAB ointment OU BID x5d until 6/22, recheck. AXR-one large cystolith, otherwise unremarkable CBC/Chem pending. Rec dental with placement pending bloodwork. Rec cystotomy to remove stone-will monitor urination in VS Prognosis: Good. SURGERY: neutered
