CURRENT STATUS UNKNOWN 07/15/17: ****CAN BE PUBLICLY ADOPTED**** A volunteer writes: What’s black and white and wiggles all over? Prieto! Not only is this guy as cute as can be, he’s down right magical! He has the ability to instantly turn frowns upside down, is reported to be gentle with children, enjoys baths, and is even said to be respectful of cats!! What he lacks in leash manners he more than makes up for with his contagious brand of enthusiasm and the loving looks he frequently doles out to his handlers. He sometimes expresses his love by jumping up, so he might need a brush up on his manners, but he is very food-motivated and responsive (plus his displays of affection aren’t limited to the boisterous kind: he gently licks my hands and will sit at my feet before toppling over onto his back). He seems housebroken, was waggy checking out a dog in the pen adjacent to us, knows some commands, and love, love, loves to play with toys! He fetches, tugs, and even flops over for belly rubs with toy-in-mouth. He takes sweet and fun to new levels, and hopes you’ll come fall in love with him at Brooklyn ACC!
