I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 01/12/2017 from NY 11207, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

KNOWN HISTORY: N/A Intact Male, Stray Other notes: During intake, Pretzel allowed all handling. SAFER ASSESSMENT: 1/14/17 Look:1. Dog’s eyes are averted. His ears are back, his tail is down, and he has a relaxed body posture. Dog allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity:1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag:1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1:1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. His eyes are averted and his ears are relaxed. Squeeze 2:1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy: 1. No interest. Summary: Pretzel was very friendly and social towards the assessor. PLAYGROUP: Pretzel was surrendered as a stray so his past behavior around dogs is unknown. He initially persistently licks the female’s genital area, but responds well to handler interruptions and explores the pen. Towards the end of the session, Pretzel mounts the female, persisting after handler interruptions. 1/14: Pretzel greets a neutered male dog with a high, vibrating tail and whining. He attempts to mount the other male but responds to handler interruptions and explores the pen. When the other dog solicits play, Pretzel offers correction.
