A volunteer writes: Pressy knows what he wants, and what he wants is not to be in his kennel when all the action is happening outside of it! He’s an adorable little fellow, great on leash, checking up often as we walk his big brown eyes reminding me of a Keane painting from the 70’s. Pressy gives me a ‘sit’, takes treat gently and puts his paws in my lap for some petting. Making friends with a staff person passing by, Pressy wags his tail in greeting, standing up against his legs for a better hello. When a chunky MinPin walks by Pressy offers a low key hello as we stop for a moment. Pressy is a bit nervous in our unfamiliar setting and is looking for a new home in which to chillax. “Cute as a button”, it shouldn’t be hard to find room in your home and heart for this little tyke.

If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email [email protected]. Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process. * We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.* For more info on behavior codes and ratings, please click here: http://information.urgentpodr.org/acc-placement-status-descriptions.
