A Little Bit About Me…

A volunteer writes: Aside putting on a few pounds, Prada has not changed very much  after a three month stay in foster care. She is gorgeous and radiant, lively and active although not fired up.  She so looks like a good family dog, with manners , some she knew already and others she learned from her host family. She likes other dogs, absolutely loves children(she lived with very young ones) and chases cats and squirrels. As a matter of fact, her foster mom recommends an adoptive home with children of all ages although of course, Prada would thrive in any caring and loving setting. She is crate trained and house trained and well behaved when left alone. She has absolutely no handling issues. She still pulls on the leash but less, loves to run after a ball and to meet the boys in playgroups. Her favorite thing to do, though is to hop on a bench next to her caretaker , really close , kiss, get kissed and hugged and dream together of a beautiful life  full of love, play, fun, people, kids and other dogs…Prada is a gorgeous gal, healthy ,  of a great age to adopt and possesses so many great qualities that make all together a top of the line pet and forever best friend. Come and meet Prada soon at the Manhattan Care Center. She so want to be part of your family  and offer her share of love and loyalty..

Let’s get to know each other a bit more…

A volunteer writes: This is my girl ! Carpe Diem… Life is to be lived and loved…. Prada….You are such a fun gal to be with… A kennel is not for her….She prefers not to be on the leash but rather free in the yard…Now we are talking… Prada is gorgeous, a bit chunky but not too much.  Her coat is magnificent and intact. Could she be part Hound or Bernese Mountain dog with short hair…. ? Trying to find out her mix of breeds is not that important, really. She is full of beans. Her eyes are naughty and laughing. She is so happy to be in company, run around or after a ball, hop on a bench next to a caretaker and mostly get hugged and kissed. Joie de Vivre at its best….Prada is strong. She pulls on the street and toward other dogs. She wants to meet and has a bowl in playgroup with her peers.  She is a big squirrels chaser and will jump high in the air with her 54 lbs off the ground. Quite impressive…I really enjoy my time with Prada. She is sociable, super friendly, energetic, loving and likes other dogs.An active owner would probably suit her best although she is really good at relaxing on a bench(or a bed) with a friend. Come and meet our Prada in person, see her in action in the yard and hopefully take her home with you as your forever best friend.
