PROFILE:
Polo is a 3yr old male Black and white Bordie collie/ AMPBT mix who was given to owner from a friend & is being surrendered due to the owner having issues with his landlord. He was last seen by a veterinarian in 2014 and He has no known health issues.
Socialization:
Around strangers Polo is friendly/outgoing. He’s lived with a 7, 10 & 14yr olds and was gentle, exuberant, relaxed, playful & somewhat rough with the adults in the home. Polo lived with a Yorkie and Played well with him. He likes to play with other dogs and gets excited to see them. Polo has not been around other cats but is curious of them when he sees them. Polo has never bitten/scratched any person or animal.
Behavior:
Polo was walked 3 times a day and used wee wee pads in the home. During storms/fireworks he’ll howl. He isn’t bothered by the following: having his food/food bowl, toys/treats touched/moved, being disturbed while sleeping/resting. Polo loves being brushed. During baths Polo struggles to get away at first but will remain still once he is inside of the tub. He hasn’t had his nails trimmed. If someone approaches the home/family member Polo wants to play.
For A New Family to Know:
Polo is friendly, affectionate, playful, confident, excitable & independent with a high activity level. The owner likes how friendly & playful he is.
