Pokey is an 8 year old Altered Male small dog breed. He came to his family from Pet shop and was surrendered due to no time. He does have allergies to chicken based products and has no other known health issues or injures and has no vet history.
Around strangers Pokey is friendly and playful, he has lived a 10 year old and relaxed and gentle with the child. Around other dogs Pokey is playful and doesn’t mind when dogs approach him and he has no bite history.
Pokey isn’t bothered when someone touches the food but will growl if they touch his toys. During a bath he isn’t bothered and when an unfamiliar person approaches the home he is friendly. He was described as friendly, affectionate, and playful with a high activity level.
He loves playing with stuffed toys and is feed dry food of the Eukanuba brand two times and day. He is mostly house trained and has accidents a few times a week and uses wee-wee pads. He well behaved when left alone and goes on walk on leash.
Upon intake Pokey was calm and relaxed he allowed the counselor to hold him and collar him.
