08/01/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Everyone that meets him agrees: Poe is quite the catch! In fact, his walk log is so filled with positive adjectives that I think we could start referring to dogs that are “amazing,” “awesome,” and “wonderful” as “Poe” dogs! He is well-built, sports one blue eye and one brown, and his spots have spots — so we might as well throw “handsome” under the “Poe” umbrella! He pulls some at first (he seems housetrained and is eager to relieve himself), but has quickly synced with me on walks, and is very easy to handle. He waits patiently in his cage, sits on command, and takes treats nicely. He LOVES toys, plays fetch, and hasn’t shown any guarding. He is playful, but also very cuddly and will land on my lap when he brings the ball back, lean against me when I pet him, and gives kisses. Not only is Poe friendly and wiggly with people, he’s also done very well with other dogs (male and female) while in our care. I’m sure I will meet more “Poe” dogs, but there’s really only one Poe…and he could be yours! Please come check him out at Brooklyn ACC.
