11/16/16 17:34 Basic Information Pistachio is an approximate 2 year old American Pitt Bull Terrier. He was dropped off at a police precinct. Officers stated they were able to handle him without any issues. One officer took him for a walk around the precinct and when Pistachio saw another dog he just froze and his tail became stiff parallel to the ground. Many officers petted and handled this pet without any issues. No signs of aggression were ever displayed while under the care of the police. Behavior during Intake Pistachio tolerated all handling. No signs of aggression were displayed. He sat down on command for his photo.
11/19/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: I’m convinced that Pistachio is a born model….or was a model in a previous life. I point my camera at him and he looks straight at me, tilts his head in a perfect pose and holds it. I mean, seriously…… I could almost hear him saying, ‘I’m ready for my close-up, Mr. De Mille’. A hundred photos later I have a hard time choosing which is best as they’re all good, and HE’S so good! Pistachio is a hunk with a capital HUNK. Gorgeous, beautifully groomed, trimmed nails, white teeth, he’s perfect! Likely housetrained, Pistachio potties the moment we’re out the door, pulls slightly on leash and wants to meet every dog we pass on our way to the park. In his first playgroup he romps in bouncy, running play, offering correction if another dog attempts to mount him. Pistachio has the cutest habit when we play with a toy (he doesn’t guard) and puts his paw on my arm as we play tug. So adorable! Affectionate, gentle, sweet, calm, fun and friendly – and always ready for his close-up, Pistachio won’t be a hard nut to crack. On the contrary – he’s ready to open up and love you forever. Won’t you give him that chance?
