Pisces does have a bit of a pathetic look…Spend time with her and you will see that she really wants to enjoy every good moment she can grab. Pisces is at her door, watching for any wondering human eyes and a leash…She is quite convincing with her asymmetric face looking right into mine, her determined stance and her body as thin as a twig… Let’s go….We are quickly in the street. First thing first. Pisces does her business and off we run around the block at high speed..Pisces is quite energetic ! She does pull toward and barks at other dogs but not consistently. As a matter of fact , leash free in the yard, she offers play bows and engages in running play.Time for pictures… Pisces does not mind to be fitted with accessories and a warm coat. Now , she truly looks like a lady!! She poses greatly for the photo session. She is such a great sitter but jumps and hops too for treats. Oh yes, she loves them!! No surprise, of course. Pisces has a lot of weight to catch up with. My biggest surprise came with the tennis ball. I never would have thought she would be interested..Never assume, I guess. She is a real soccer mom, really eager to put her mouth on the ball after a wild chase…Would she share it? I will try tomorrow.. As volunteers, we love to make the pets happy but we so enjoy when we can have real fun too… Some dogs have that talent to make our time a blast… Pisces, I am pretty sure needs experienced hands to get her used to the beloved and pampered pet status. Good things can be learned quickly… Pisces is counting on you…and so dreaming to make her way to your thoughts and hopefully to your home and heart too. She is waiting at the Manhattan Care Center.
PLAYGROUP:
When introduced off leash to the male greeter dog, Pisces is initially stiff when greeting but will then offer a playbow. She will engage in running play.
